It took only three months to renovate a 1,100 m2 parking garage near Hübeliweg in Zollikofen.
Because there was insufficient concrete coating over the reinforcement bars on the underside of the slab, the bars had begun to corrode. As a preparatory step, the Schichtex panels used for insulation had to be stripped with a high-pressure water jet. The slab underside was then reprofiled at points where the concrete surface had fissured, followed by spraying a 20 mm to 30 mm layer of fresh mortar. The final stages involved reinforcement of the lamellas in the entry ramp area and installation of the new Schichtex panels.
